Tips for a successful move/checklist

Most of us don’t realise how many possessions we have until we start thinking about moving. It can be daunting, but with a reliable and trustworthy removal company, and some preparation and planning, it can be an extremely efficient process.

The British Association of Removers (BAR) has produced a leaflet to help guide you through. From deciding what will be coming with you and what won’t, to advice on parking, access and running down the content of your freezer, have a read and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any further questions.

Should you have any unwanted goods, we offer a household disposal service, from a single item to a full house clearance. All fully licensed by the Environment Agency.

Internal moves

As well as doing full house moves, our team can help you move furniture around your home. We use our expertise to ensure your possessions are adequately protected and handled with care.

If you have a large dresser you would like relocating to another room, or a heavy wardrobe to move to an upstairs bedroom, let us take care of it for you.

Single item moves

Whether you have an item you would like to transfer to storage, or you’ve bought or sold a piece of furniture that needs collecting or delivering, our team is happy to help.

Moving a single item is something we can accommodate at short notice and we can also take care of of protecting the item to ensure it’s safely transported.

Piano moves

Pianos are valuable, heavy, have over 1,000 moving parts, and are very often much-loved instruments, so moving them to a new home, location or into storage can be complex. We would therefore always recommend using professional movers and not attempting to do this yourself.

With many years of experience, we know the care, attention and time that is needed to transport these beautiful instruments. From upright through to grand pianos, we will ensure every part is completely protected and secured with specialist wraps and straps throughout the whole process.

We are fully insured and our team has undergone extensive training from the British Association of Removers, so you can be assured your piano is in the safest hands.
